Live readings
Instantaneous measurement of all channels, large reading, status bar with Bluetooth signal, supply and response time.
Aquatos Field connects your smartphone, tablet or laptop to your Aquatos data loggers via Bluetooth. You measure, tare, run the self-test and create the inspection report on site, with no installation and no customer account.
Free of charge for all users of TerraTransfer devices. Runs in the browser at ltxdata.net/field and can be added to the home screen like an app.
The app interface is recreated here with sample data. Functions and labels may change with new app versions.
From pairing to the report with signature fields: this is how technicians and operators work with Aquatos Field on site. Select a step, or tap the bar at the bottom of the smartphone directly.
Tap Connect and select the logger in the browser's Bluetooth dialog. Once you have entered the device PIN, the measurement and setup functions are unlocked. The app remembers the PIN for each logger, exclusively locally on your own device, and unlocks the logger automatically the next time you connect.
With Measure, the logger records all active channels. Aquatos Field shows the key value, usually water level or stage, as a large reading, designed to be read outdoors and from a little distance. A status bar shows the Bluetooth signal, the supply voltage and the age of the last response at a glance.
Load the logger's data memory on site and check the hydrograph. Channel chips show and hide individual parameters, and you can zoom in the full-screen view. All values are also available as a table and can be exported as CSV.
Trigger a measurement and enter the reference value, for example from the staff gauge or from a dip meter measurement. Aquatos Field calculates the offset and writes it to the logger. For sensors such as conductivity, the app guides you through a two-point calibration.
A single tap checks the supply, the sensors on the SDI-12 bus, a live measurement, the server transmission and the cellular modem. For loggers without a cellular modem, the two transmission steps are skipped. The result is shown as a traffic light and can be added directly to the day's tour as a stop.
Use your smartphone's GPS position as the coordinates of the monitoring station and correct the point on the map if necessary. The export is available as CSV for spreadsheets and GIS, or as GPX for navigation devices.
From Expert mode upwards, a terminal is available that lets technicians send commands directly to the logger and read the responses. It is not needed for day-to-day work at the monitoring station.
Under More you will find the device management with the loggers you have already connected, the settings with the choice of mode, the report archive and the version information.
In Expert mode, device data, calibration and current readings are combined into a calibration report as a PDF, with GPS position and signature fields. For maintenance tours, the daily report summarises all stops including findings and materials, as well as self-test results that have been added. The app also keeps every PDF in its local archive for 90 days. The archive is held in the browser storage of your device, so you should export or share important reports promptly.
Simplified view with sample data in Expert mode. Tap Home, Graph, Terminal, Location or More.
Aquatos Field brings together the tasks that used to require a laptop, cables and a notepad. The interface is built for operation with your thumb, with large buttons and the measure button always within reach.
Instantaneous measurement of all channels, large reading, status bar with Bluetooth signal, supply and response time.
Load measurement data from the logger, check it as a hydrograph or table, export it as CSV.
Water level and depth to water by reference value, two-point calibration for conductivity and other linear sensors.
Up to five test steps at the press of a button, result shown as a traffic light. Ideal after installation, battery replacement or sensor replacement.
Guided setup for the Aquatos Radar with a live plot, and for frequency and pulse counters with live values.
Measurement and transmission interval via quick select, alarm limits and alarm intervals. Synchronise the device time in Expert mode.
Record the GPS position, correct it on the map and export it as CSV or GPX.
Calibration report and daily report with signature fields, passed on via your device's share function, local archive.
Three modes control which functions are visible. Aquatos Field starts in Basic mode: on-call staff measure and tare without accidentally changing device or system parameters. Technicians enable Expert in the settings.
Measuring, taring, self-test, transmission test, intervals and location, reading out the data memory with chart, plus the radar setup and the simplified counter setup. No device and system parameters, no PDF reports, no terminal.
Adds PDF reports, device and system parameters such as the name of the logger, device time, and the terminal for direct commands to the logger.
Additionally enables deleting the data memory, only after confirmation. Falls back to Expert automatically after 15 minutes.
Both work with the same Aquatos loggers, by different routes. Aquatos Field talks via Bluetooth directly to the device in front of you, while Sensormanager receives the data of the entire monitoring network via the cellular network.
Set up, check and document, directly at the device and even without network coverage. Aquatos mini and nano work without cellular, with Bluetooth only: you collect your measurement data on site with Aquatos Field.
Monitor and analyse the monitoring network and raise alarms, in the office and on the move. Readings arrive automatically via the cellular network.
Go to SensormanagerYou need a device with Bluetooth Low Energy and a browser with Web Bluetooth. This applies to most current smartphones, tablets and laptops.
| Android | Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge |
|---|---|
| Windows, macOS | Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge |
| iPhone and iPad | Bluefy, a browser from the App Store |
Aquatos Field needs neither an account nor a cloud. The connection to the logger runs directly between your device and the measuring instrument.
No. Aquatos Field runs in the browser. If you wish, you can add the app to your home screen via the browser menu. It then starts in full screen like an installed app. The only exception: on iPhone and iPad you need the Bluefy browser from the App Store, because Safari does not support Web Bluetooth.
Yes, with the Bluefy browser from the App Store. Safari does not support Web Bluetooth, which is why this route is necessary on iPhone and iPad. The quick guide for Bluefy is in the Compatibility section.
Nothing. The app is available free of charge to all users of TerraTransfer devices, with no licence and no registration.
No, provided you have opened the app once beforehand with an internet connection. Bluetooth is all you need to connect to the logger. You only need internet for the location view with the map and for app updates. The transmission test checks the logger's connection to the server and therefore needs cellular reception at the logger, not at the smartphone.
Aquatos Field is its further development and replaces it. New functions such as the self-test and inspection reports are now added to Aquatos Field only.
No, the two complement each other. Aquatos Field is the tool for working on an individual device on site, while Sensormanager brings together the entire monitoring network in the office.
Open ltxdata.net/field in your smartphone's browser or scan the QR code. Have your logger's PIN ready: you will find it on the housing or in the accompanying document.
